It’s such a beautiful song and the movie looks amazing. I see no reason why it shouldn't.We are in love with this song right now, the beginning is amazing! We love all the versions, but our favorites are by Atif and Kailash Kher…this one is sung by Atif. I gave it a five star rating which, according to means it will go down as a classic. Overall - get this album into your collection.

It just has a nice slow-jazz beat to it and an easy-going melody which just clicks. What works for Jaane Tu is the well etched characters, performed brilliantly by the actors. First Lagaan, then Taare Zameen Par and now Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, although not in the same league, is yet another classic from Aamir Khan productions. There isn't anything I can point out about this song which makes it a good song. Whatever Aamir Khan touches seems to be turning into gold. Several scenes of the film are shot at Bandra Fort, including the popular song, Kabhi Kabhi Aditi, in which Jai tried to bring a smile to Aditi’s face after she loses her kitten. It nicely compliments the overall feel of the movie itself and the melody is quite decent. Ya Jaane Na - Mumbai The 2008 film showcases several spots in the city, that Mumbaikars definitely find familiar and probably feel nostalgic looking at. It gives it a sort of retro-hotel band song sort of feeling. I liked the jazz instruments on which this song is played.
And this is why this is another out and out hit! And the clear strumming of the acoustic guitar throughout the song gives it that similar feel as the songs mentioned above.
